Summary

  • add Google Photos Library and Google Photos Picker to the Google OpenAPI preset picker
  • include representative OAuth scopes for the picker preview
  • keep Photos out of the default standard-user Select all group so users opt in deliberately

Validation

  • bun run --cwd packages/plugins/openapi test
  • bun run --cwd packages/plugins/openapi typecheck
  • bunx oxfmt --check packages/plugins/openapi/src/sdk/google-presets.ts packages/plugins/openapi/src/sdk/google-presets.test.ts packages/plugins/openapi/src/sdk/snapshots/google-presets.test.ts.snap .changeset/google-photos-openapi-presets.md
  • bun run lint:changelog-stubs

Note: the repo-level presets-reachable test was not used as final validation because this fresh checkout fails on existing unrelated cases: the Google bundle preset has no URL and the test expects executor.sources.detect to exist.

codex please ...

You’re right. I should have stopped at a fork branch and asked before opening anything upstream.

google photos api is mostly not supported by google so there are a bunch of limitations that people may not want. I will continue to play around with it before trying to upstream.
